Kuan & Ho Sdn Bhd founded in 1966 by two enterprising young men K.K. Kuan and Y. C. Ho began as a partnership company dealing in office equipment. K.K. Kuan was on his own after the tragic loss of his partner in 1972.

The company has grown from strength to strength, expanding into a marketing and distribution company dealing in a wide range of office-related products and equipment, both for commercial and personal users. It has also successfully established a network of dealers effectively serving the customers nationwide. Besides the main office, it has its branches set up in Kuala Lumpur and Penang too.

The visionary strategies, entrepreneurial foresight and effective management have put the Company on the right track for further expansion and won the trust and confidence of both the customers and principal business partners of the Company.

The emergence of computers has adversely affected the use of typewriters but the business of the Company continued to expand with the introduction of new products to meet the demands of consumers.

2001	Distributing in bulk two models of Casio scientific calculators of models FX-570MS & FX-350MS
2002	Appointed as Authorized Distributor for CLOVER/AOBA for Electronic Cash register
2003	Appointed as Sole Distributor for Olympia brand products in Asia Pacific Region
2004	Appointed as Sole Distributor for Taiyo fire resistant safes
2005	Appointed as Sole Distributor for SAM4S Electronic Cash Register(formerly known as SAMSUNG)
2006	Distributing assorted ink roller & cartridge ribbons
2007	Appointed as Sole Distributor for BOOIL fire resistant safe
2008	Re-appointed as Sole Distributor for Olympia brand product in Asia Pacific Region
2009	Certified as an ISO 9001:2000 company
2010	Appointed as the Distributor for NIDEKA time recorder
2011	Certified as an ISO9001:2008 company

The Company takes pride in being appointed the Sole Distributor for Paymaster checkwriters in Asia Pacific and Sole Distributor for Olympia brand products in Asia Pacific Businesses of the reputable company have successfully expanded into Asia Pacific region.

The year 2009 also marked a milestone for the Company when it was awarded the coveted ISO9001:2000 Certification.

The Management

The man at the helm K. K. Kuan whose knowledge in Chinese and English has enabled him to have the best of both worlds is mainly responsible for the success of the Company. The leader for the past four decades is replaced by a dynamic man of the second generation David Kuan who received his tertiary education in U.K and has been under the tutelage of the father. His vigor and tenacity will certainly take the Company to greater heights in the years to come.
